Common Name(s): Christmas Palm, Manila Palm
Christmas palm trees inherit their title from the colours of the fruit that they bear. White/green when they are young and ruby red when they are mature. The fronds that extend from the palm’s woody trunk have similarities to the Royal Palm Tree; thus sometimes being referred to as a Dwarf Royal Palm.
